Rolex Day Date 40 228236 Platinum Baguette from June 2023 Rolex Day Date 40 ref. 228236 in 950 platinum with diamond pavé dial, baguette cut diamonds and sapphires, and President bracelet. One of the most distinctive modern Day Date configurations, where the noticeable weight and cool tone of platinum are combined with a dial that sits far apart from the more traditional index and Roman numeral versions. The dial is set with 8 baguette cut diamonds and 2 baguette cut sapphires at 6 and 9 o’clock. Together with the fluted platinum bezel and President bracelet, the watch has a very coherent expression where materials and details work closely together without changing the classic Day Date identity. The case measures 40mm and is made in 950 platinum with fluted platinum bezel, sapphire crystal, Cyclops over the date and 100m water resistance. The President bracelet is also made in platinum with semi circular three piece links and concealed Crownclasp. Inside is the Rolex Caliber 3255 with day and date, stop seconds, approximately 70 hours of power reserve, blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers.
