Long time a watch collectors item, the Grand Seiko has been revered as one of the finest watches Japan produces. Until 2010, obtaining a Grand Seiko proved difficult for many watch collectors, the watch was only available in Japan, necessitating a trip to Japan to purchase one, or turning to the used watch market to secure one themselves. In 2010 that was the 50th anniversary of the Grand Seiko line of watches, Mr. Hattori, Seikos president and CEO, announced that the Grand Seiko line would be released worldwide. The Grand Seiko line is, without a doubt, among the best built watches in the world. The quality, precision and aesthetics is world class. All the parts of the watch is produced in-house, by the strictest standards. This SBGA127 is made of titanium and measures 40mm x 12.8mm. The stunning blue dial is really impressive.
