A super fine example of a vintage Rolex Submariner, ref. 5513 from 1979 (6030xxx serial) with a Maxi III dial. Originally sold in 1981. The classic no-nonsense diver without date and one of the most sought after vintage Rolex watches for some years now. This 5513 is in fine condition, with a good solid case and nice and fat lugs. This 5513 is fitted with a so called "Maxi III" dial, with fine patina on the hour markers. Note: The hand-set has been color matched by our watchmaker. The caseback has previously been engraved. The watch sits on a newer 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end-links. This 5513 comes with boxes, booklets, certificate, anchor and calendar card.
