Rolex Sea-Dweller 43 Mk2, ref. 126600, originally sold in May 2020. A modern interpretation of the legendary Sea-Dweller, combining Rolex’s professional diving heritage with a substantial 43mm Oyster case. This generation was introduced in 2017 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Sea-Dweller and became the first Sea-Dweller to feature a Cyclops lens over the date. This example features the later Mk2 dial, identifiable by the Rolex coronet positioned between “Swiss” and “Made” at 6 o’clock. The black dial features large Chromalight markers, the characteristic red Sea-Dweller text and a date display at 3 o’clock. The black Cerachrom bezel has a 60 minute graduation, while the Oyster bracelet completes the purposeful diving watch design. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3235, a Superlative Chronometer certified movement with Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
