Rolex Explorer II, ref. 216570, originally sold by an authorized Danish retailer in January 2019. An unworn Explorer II that still retains its original factory protective stickers. A particularly attractive example of the discontinued 216570 generation in the classic configuration with a white dial and the characteristic orange 24 hour GMT hand. The 42mm Oystersteel case features a fixed stainless steel bezel with an engraved 24 hour scale. The white dial has black markers and hands, Chromalight and a date display at 3 o’clock with Cyclops magnification. The orange 24 hour hand gives the model its distinctive appearance and allows a second time zone to be displayed. The watch is fitted with the robust Oyster bracelet. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3187, a chronometer movement with blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The local hour hand can be adjusted independently, while sapphire crystal and 100m water resistance complete the functional specification. Comes with boxes, papers, certificate, both hangtags, bezel protector.
