Rolex Daytona 116520, D9 serial, from August 2005 Rolex Daytona ref. 116520 in stainless steel with white dial, Oyster bracelet and stainless steel tachymeter bezel. An important modern Daytona reference, as the 116520 introduced Rolex’s own in house chronograph movement while still keeping the clean steel bezel look from the generation before the ceramic bezel. The white dial gives the watch a bright and classic Daytona appearance, with the three chronograph registers standing clearly against the dial and balancing well with the polished steel bezel. On the wrist, the 116520 still feels slim and very well proportioned, especially compared with several newer sports models. Inside is the Rolex Caliber 4130, an automatic chronograph movement known for strong reliability, efficient construction and approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
