Ref. 1603 is particularly distinguished by its stainless steel engine turned bezel, giving the model a more distinctive appearance compared with the smooth and traditional fluted bezels of the period. The watch features a 36mm stainless steel case and a classic Linen dial. Its finely textured surface adds depth and gives the dial a distinctive character closely associated with Rolex watches from this era. The stainless steel engine turned bezel frames the dial, while the acrylic crystal features a Cyclops magnifier over the date display at 3 o’clock.
