Rolex Sea-Dweller "Double Red", ref. 1665 – ca. 1972 A rare and highly collectible vintage Rolex Sea-Dweller "Double Red" (DRSD), featuring the iconic two lines of red text. This piece has a Mk2 dial that was previously relumed with Luminova, matching Luminova hands, and a later date wheel. The insert is a service version with a Luminova pearl, overall in very good condition. The case has been previously polished but remains well-defined. The caseback is engraved “IV.67” (4th quarter of 1967) and features the correct last three digits of the case serial number (2926XXX), dating the watch to approximately 1972. The watch is fitted with a 9315 folded Oyster bracelet with 280 end links. The bracelet shows some stretch consistent with age. The watch comes with box, booklet, certificate, older RSC service, and 2023 service.
