Rolex Submariner, ref. 168000, from approx. 1986 – serial no. 963XXXX. An appealing Submariner 168000, the so-called "transitional reference", which marked the transition between the classic vintage models and the modern Submariners. The model combines elements from both eras – the black tritium dial and the new, technically upgraded construction with sapphire glass and quick date adjustment. The watch is made in a 40 mm steel case with a steel bezel. The watch is equipped with a tritium dial, which appears with age-related patina and slight peeling at o'clock. 6 the marker. Inside, the automatic Rolex cal. 3035 – a chronometer-certified in-house movement with fast date change and higher frequency of 28,800 vph, which gave the watch significantly improved precision and running stability compared to its predecessor, cal. 1575.
