Patek Philippe Cubitus Grand Date, Day and Moon Phases, ref. 5822P-001 – originally sold in November 2024. An exceptional and technically sophisticated model from Patek Philippe's Cubitus collection, introduced in 2024 as the brand's first new collection in 25 years. With its distinctive square-shaped case and advanced calendar complications, the model combines contemporary design with traditional Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship. The 45 mm case is crafted from solid 950 platinum, featuring elegant brushed and polished surfaces and a discreet baguette-cut diamond at 6 o'clock. The blue dial features a horizontally embossed sunburst finish, complemented by white gold hour markers and hands with luminescent material. The dial displays a grand date in a double aperture at 12 o'clock, day and moon-phase indications at 7 o'clock, and small seconds between 4 and 5 o'clock. The calendar indications change instantaneously at midnight. The watch is fitted with a navy blue composite strap featuring a fabric pattern and a platinum fold-over clasp. Inside is Patek Philippe caliber 240 PS CI J LU, an ultra-thin self-winding movement offering 38–48 hours of power reserve and operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The movement features a 22K gold micro-rotor, Gyromax balance and Spiromax hairspring. Its advanced calendar mechanism was developed with six patent applications, while the beautifully finished movement can be admired through the transparent sapphire caseback.
