Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph, ref. 5968A-001 – originally sold in December 2021. One of the most sought-after modern sports watches from Patek Philippe, combining exceptional Swiss watchmaking with the Aquanaut's distinctive design. Introduced in 2018 as the first Aquanaut with a chronograph, the model is particularly recognised for its striking orange accents. The watch measures 42.2mm and is crafted from stainless steel with the distinctive rounded octagonal case and a bezel featuring polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The charcoal-grey dial has the familiar embossed Aquanaut pattern, a black-gradient rim and applied white gold hour markers with luminescent material. Orange accents highlight the central chronograph seconds hand and 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock, while the date display is positioned at 3 o'clock. The chronograph features a flyback function, allowing a new timing interval to be started with a single press. The watch is fitted with a composite strap and Patek Philippe's stainless steel folding clasp, which still has its protective film attached. The watch also features sapphire crystal and a transparent caseback. Inside is Patek Philippe Calibre CH 28-520 C, an automatic manufacture movement featuring a column wheel, vertical clutch and a power reserve of approximately 45 to 55 hours.
