Rarely seen 36mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Quartz 56023ST from the approx the mid 1980's. One of Gerald Genta´s most iconic designs still in production to this day is the Royal Oak, first launched in 1972, four years prior to The launch of Patek Philippes Nautilus, also designed by Genta. This 35mm Royal Oak is made in steel. The watch features a black "Petite Tapisserie” dial with date aperture at the 3 o'clock marker a Quartz Cal. 2502 movement. This iconic watch is in fine condition and comes as a watch only.
