Rare and sought-after Rolex Explorer II "Cream Rail Dial", ref. 16550 from approx. 1985 - 8431xxx serial. Very cool transitional Rolex Explorer 16550, that was the model between 1655 and 16570, and that was only produced between the years 1985 and 1989. The watch measures 40mm and runs on an automatic Cal. 3085 movement. This Explorer II features the very sought-after "Cream Rail Dial". The ref. 16650 with white dials were manufactured with a defective paint that would discolour over time. The hands has a very charming patina matching the dial very well. Comes as a watch only.
