Rolex Submariner Small Crown, ref. 5508 with a perfect gilt dial This Sub is from 1959 (468xxx SN). Beautiful Small Crown Sub, that checks all the boxes - Small Crown, gilt hands, perfect gilt dial and a great case, that has recently been detailed, and is a condition one could only hope for. The case is in great shape, with fat and symmetric lugs without and dings or dents. Both reference number and seriel number has been rubbed of slightly by the end links, but can be seen through a loupe. The watch is also fitted with an original brass bezel. The original hands perfectly matches the hour markers, and lights up for a minuter after exposure to UV light, with is correct for this period. The watch sits on a 7206 Oyster bracelet with 80 end pieces.
