Rolex Submariner, ref. 1680 Red Sub from approximately 1972 - serial number 3181xxx. One of the more sought-after Rolex vintage watches, the Red Sub is a classic among collectors and would complement any vintage collection. The watch has been polished but remains handsome with good lugs and symmetrical crown guards. The dial is a period-correct Mark V dial, which has developed a highly appealing light creamy patina, with nicely matching hands. The watch features an incredibly attractive faded, fat-font bezel insert. This Red Sub is mounted on a 9315 folded Oyster bracelet in good condition, albeit with slight stretch. Comes without accessories.
