A really great example of the very sought after matte dial Rolex Sea-Dweller, ref. 16660 aka Triple Six. This watch which is from 1983 (8057xxx SN) and was not sold untill 1986 and is fitted with an absolutely flawless matte Mk2 dial and hands in great condition a tone lighter than the dial. The 16660 is a transitional model released between ref. 1665 and ref, 16600 and therefore features the best of both worlds as fx. matte dial, crystal glass, fatter case, Cal. 3035 movement with quick-set etc. The case is in great condition with fat lugs and comes on a solid bracelet without any noticeable stretch. The original bezel insert with the stunning tritium pearl gives the watch a super appealing look. The watch comes with boxes, papers, certificate, Rolex service papers, Buehlmann chart, anchor, screwdriver etc. A fine example of a sought after neo-vintage that has pretty much reached the status of a classic.
