Rolex Daytona, ref. 16520 with Zenith movement from 1997 (U535xxx series), sold september 4th 19898, with a black dial with sundials with an attractive patina. A really fine example of the sought after Rolex chronograph, ref, 16520 with the well known modified Zenith movement. The U series is one of the last production batches, before the 16520 with lumina dial and hands was introduced. Ref. 16520 has only gained in desirability over the last years, and now with the new Daytona presented last year at Basel, they are even more sought after and prices only seem to go one way. This Daytona has been lightly polished over the years and is in great condition with very scarce signs of wear and comes with boxes, papers, certificate etc.
